BPI SPORTS PRESENTS: HOME RUN DERBY!!!

This portion of the BPI Sports website is meant to commemorate the 1959 Home Run Derby TV show that was released on DVD in its entirety in 2007. Aside from posting the actual rules, scores, and statistics from the show, I've simulated a 1959 tournament (including all 34 sluggers who hit 20+ home runs that year) and replayed the actual 1959 TV sequence! The results from those great contests can be viewed here. I also simulate the MLB Home Run Derby yearly, before it happens and the most recent results are here.

I'm always looking to simulate new tournaments and matchups so feel free to email me your Home Run Derby match requests at hrderby1959@aol.com. Please remember to include whether you'd like the tournament/game to be played by the 9 inning or the 10 out rules and also include the player seasons you'd like me to simulate (i.e. 1959 Coot Veal v. 1968 Ray Oyler) or you may choose the CAREER player.
